March 13th (Saturday) Memorial Service for Nancy Marek: Click here for details.
March 17th (Wednesday) Fundraising Project: Annual Magic Show at the Courtyard Theater, 1509 H Avenue, Plano, TX 75074, 6pm and 8pm. We need to have Lions in vests at both openings to greet attendees.
March 20th Regular meeting. Program: Christopher Hackett, former morning host of WRR 101.1, will be speaking about putting videos on websites. Christopher spent almost 20 years on the radio in the Broadcasting business, on KDMX Mix 102.9, 92.5 KZPS and most recently, as the morning host on WRR Classical 101.1 FM. The topic is "Why not use that old camcorder you've got in the closet to make some money and help promote your business?" I'll bet we will learn things that might come in handy on our own club website. If you know somebody who is trying to build (or improve) a website, invite them!
April 3rd Regular meeting. Program: Russ Riddle, presenting a program entitled "GET GALVANIZED(tm)" (sample YouTube video) -Healthy bodies, minds and spirits require activity; they otherwise rust. This session will stir your team to action and preserve its success!
April 17th Regular meeting. Program: (TBD)
April 17th District Convention at the MCM Elegante Hotel, 2330 W. Northwest Highway (I-35 & Northwest Highway.) We need as many members as possible to show up and vote for Lion Ken.
May 1st Regular meeting. Program: (TBD)
May 13th-14th MD2 State Convention, El Paso, TX. Join us if you can to cheer for Sam Scott at the state contest.
May 15th Regular meeting. Program: (TBD)
Meetings of the board of directors are open to any Plano Early Lions Club member.

The Plano Early Lions have unanimously voted to support the candidacy of Lion Ken Gleason for the position of 2nd Vice District Governor 2010-2011.
If you have any eyeglasses or eyeglass cases you would like to donate, take them to any of the convenient drop-off points.
